1. Where did you meet? At a gas station in like south Phx somewhere at like 2am!! haha!
2. What was the first thought that went through your head when you met? It was definitely love at first sight! We had known each other through Jon's brother, so we weren't strangers, but first time meeting in person, I just knew he was the one!
3. Do you remember what she/he was wearing? My favorite Orange Billabong tshirt...Even though it has holes in it now, I think he still has it...and I love it!
4. Where was the first time you kissed this person? He kissed me in my parents family room...right beneath the ceiling fan...I was in heaven! :)
5. How did he/she ask you out? He didn't really ask me out. He was in town visiting and after hanging out for like 3 days, we just decided we were together!
6. Do you and this person have kids together? We have one on the way! Sept. 6th!
7. Have you ever broken the law with this person? We've driven like crazy people, and we went into mexico on accident on our first "date" had to do a police search of us and our car....it was super scary! The cops thought we were in and out of mexico to drop off or pick up drugs! It was awful!! hahaha
8. When was the first time you realized that you liked this person? the very first time his brother Aaron had us talk on the phone.
9. Do you get along with any of the ex's of your partner? I don't really know any of them, but have met a couple, but I don't really care I won him over right?!
10. Do you trust this person? DUH with my life!!!
11. Do you see your partner in your future? We will be together for time and all Eternity
12. What’s the most expensive thing this person has given you? My wonderful beautiful wedding ring!!!
13. What is one thing he/she does that gets on your nerves? He can be SO stubborn!!

Latest Updates!

I feel so lame, I don't have any new pictures to post, but it seems like I have lots to say. I'm sure my blogs get boring without pictures! Anyways, this past weekend has been rough. Friday I woke up with unbearable stomach cramps...(not good when you're 5 months prego) and I could NOT get rid of them. I also had severe pain in my lower back....also NOT GOOD. So I left work early and tried to get to the Dr but they closed early on Fridays. So Monday I headed to the Dr and got some tests done to see what could be causing the pain. No problems with the baby thus far thankfully, however I am having severe pain with my sciatic nerve in my back. Let me just tell you, there is NO way to get comfortable unless you're in a steaming hot shower or eat half a bottle of Tylenol. You can't sit, stand, lay down, or walk comfortably and it is absolute misery. So I suffered with that ALL weekend with my family in town visiting! BRUTAL! I also found out from my tests that I am still suffering from a urinary/bladder infection and am being heavily treated for it. The meds cause me to have blurred vision and stomach sickness. So imagine that on top of all the other pain I have been feeling! Its been really hard! :(

On a lighter note...I am excited for this Friday. We are getting our Fetal Echo done where they will check Nathan's heart and also get some 3D photo's of the little guys' face! I absolutely cannot wait to see him again! It is amazing how much I miss him as he grows and grows. I feel like I want to look at him all the time! He is moving around quite a bit but still keeping me remotely comfortable! I am almost 5 and a half months...seems crazy! But I am just SO excited to meet our little angel! :) He'll be here before we know it. Now if I could only get these back pains to GO AWAY!

IT'S A BOY!!!!!

Well, the great news is in!! Jon and I are having a little BOY this fall!!! We are soooooooo excited to meet our little Nathan! We have been talking to him every day and telling him how much we love him! Jon greets me EVERY DAY and says goodbye to me EVERY DAY by giving me a hug and a kiss and kissing my tummy and telling Nathan how much he loves him! Once Nathan is here I'll sure miss those sweet moments! I felt the baby move last Thursday and it was such a neat experience!! They were like little butterfly kisses in my tummy! It was sooo sweet. Every now and then I feel him bump in to me or wiggle around....and it's just so amazing! He's our little miracle for sure! I am seriously so excited to see his cute little face. The doctor says he shows NO SIGN of inheriting any of my diabetic issues because my diabetes is doing so well....he is in perfect condition. On May 16th I go back for a fetal echo and they'll check him over again to make sure. And try to get a 3-D picture of his little face! I can't believe I'll be just about 24 weeks by then. Time is literally FLYING by! I can't believe it! My belly gets bigger seems like every day...no more disguising this little guy. He's ready for the world to see him! :) I am SO SO blessed to be pregnant with him and I thank my Heavenly Father every day for the joy he already brings and will bring to our lifes. He may be the only baby we get....but as long as I get him, I'll be satisfied. Its always been my calling to be a mother...I've always felt that way and now it is finally time!! My heart feels VERY full, and I am so lucky to have such a wonderful supportive husband and wonderful family and friends who have supported me so much!! :) Hopefully you'll all be able to see our darling Nathan soon!!! :)

It's been a while....

Been quite some time since I last posted anything on my blog! I am a slacker...officially! I am now 4 months along in my pregnancy and actually hope to find out the sex of my baby tomorrow at my detailed ultrasound! I am so excited to know!! I am hoping for a girl, but something has me nudging that it's a boy! We'll see! :) Can't wait to know. My pregnancy is going really well so far. Only a couple minor set backs with my blood sugar! This baby is kicking my butt when it comes to keeping my blood sugars up! Crazy baby! But it'll all be worth it when baby gets here! I feel so blessed to be so healthy in my pregnancy and to be carrying such a healthy baby! :) It'll be fun to feel baby move and hopefully by tomorrow give baby it's official name! :)

Also, for those of you who don't already know...my cousin Bryce passed away on March 19th. We are still unsure of his cause of death but it has been so heart wrenching for all of us to go through. He was only 22 years old. And my partner in crime growing up! I miss him SO much every single day. Until we know his cause of death I feel none of us will have any closure! But it has strengthened my testimony of our Spirits...and how they make us who we are. Our bodies are just vessels for them to dwell in until its time to move on to the next life where eventually they will be rejoined! I am so glad to have that missing peice of the puzzle...to know what happens after death...and to know that our families are forever...and that I will see and be with Bryce again one day. Doesn't make going through this ANY easier, but it does give comfort. And for that I am grateful! I will love and miss him every day for the REST of my life...until I can see him again!!

Coming this Fall...

For those of you who don't already know...Jon and I are expecting our first little bundle of JOY come this fall! As of now January 14th, I am just over 6 weeks along. My due date is calculated for September 6th, but I am guessing for a mid to late August baby! We are absolutely THRILLED and excited to meet our little love!!! I am feeling WONDERFUL....(so far) and am just really anxious for my little ones arrival! My first Dr. appt is set for January 28th!! We do have names picked out for boys and girls. I am hoping for a girl first and Jon is leaning towards a boy first...however we'll BOTH be happy with whatever we get!!! Being diabetic will make for an interesting and hopefully safe pregnancy so keep my family in your prayers! We honestly couldn't be happier!!! I will keep you updated and post pics of the upcoming events...thanks for all the well wishes we have received from everyone so far!! You guys are awesome and we love each and every one of you!!!

I can't believe...

Christmas time is already less than 2 weeks away! Time is flying, and personally I am RUNNING OUT OF TIME! For those of you who don't know I took up a second job that I always do for fun in December working for Randstat doing fragrance modeling. They have given me SO many hours!! Next week between both jobs I'm working about 65 hours! Its been fun though and it'll only be this way til Christmas. I make good money there, however I'm working so much I don't have enough time for my holiday festivities!! There just aren't enough hours in the day! :) Awww the joys of the holidays! I have also started a new postion at my new job doing more of the accounting part of the business...so it's been totally hectic!!! But I'm loving being so busy!!! I don't know about Jon...I'm gone an awful lot, but we always seem to find time to be together! He's always such a wonderful support...I couldn't ask for anyone better!!! I just love him! Anyways, hope everyone is having a stress free holiday season!!!

Its that time again!!!

It is that wonderful time of year again!!! CHRISTMAS!!! Although this year will be a little rough on me, it will also have many great new traditions to start. This will of course be the first Christmas I've ever spent with Jon...we will be able to start so many fun traditions between ourselves! I am sad because my mom and dad will be going to Idaho to visit my oldest brother and his family. Though I know both parties are excited, I can't help but be a smidge sad. It'll be the first Christmas in 24 years that I haven't been with them! So its kind of a bitter sweet feeling this year. I am excited however for the hustle and bustle! :) I will be working at Macy's doing fragrance modeling again this year so I will be part of all that department store clatter! :) I am excited for that but it will DEFINITELY keep me busy!!! To say the least! Starting Dec 1st, I will not have another day off until Christmas Eve! Crazy!! I put up our first Christmas tree this year! It is humble, but I must say....GORGEOUS!! I just love it and love to just sit and look at it in the evenings. It's soooo sparkly! December is just around the corner...and this year...I think I'm actually ready for it! :) Happy Holidays to everyone!! :)
