In sleep he sang to me.....in dreams he came!!!

Jon and I were able to go to the play Phantom of the Opera at Gammage theater. This is my second time going but Jon's first. We've both been Phantom fanatics for a LONG time. I was so excited we were able to go. Jon was amazed at the play and their voices. The stage was amazing of course, scene changes done perfectly, voices/music was spot on! It was a blast. I'm gonna try to go one more time before they leave AZ for another 10 years on the 22nd of November. I would go every night if I could. It was so much fun for us to have a date night. Dad came and watched Nathan and they had a ball together playing! Jon and I haven't gone on a "date" since before Nathan was born. So this was a special night for us and we had a great time!!! Just a fun picture of me and Nathan. This is at Kaitlyn's 4th Birthday party! It was hot outside but we all had a really good time. It was fun! I love my sweet baby boy!! He's too much fun! He loved playing in the sand, sprinklers, grass and puddles all around the park. Too cute!

A boo boo for my Boo Boo!

Today Nathan was full of accidents! He tripped over things that didn't even exist...I swear he has two left feet like his mama! Today however he pulled a stunt that Jon and I have worried about since he learned to walk. In our bedroom we have a full body mirror that leans up against the wall. Nathan loves to go up to it and hit it and then it shakes...we try to prevent this, but he just keeps being persistent! So today after I had pulled him away from the mirror for the 10th time, I turned around to pick up another toy and down comes the mirror. Nathan pulled it down landed on his back and the mirror hit him on the left side scratching his face. Poor guy was freaked out more than hurt luckily it wasn't worse and luckily that mirror didn't bust into a million peices....he clung to Jon and I for the next 30 minutes or so. We gave him a little bit of Tylenol and a ba-ba and eventually he was ready for nap. Woke up an hour and a half later full of energy and happiness and once again tripping over thin air! Crazy silly boy!

It's a Bird....it's a plane...its SUPER NATHAN!!!!

So we took Nathan out trick or treating with his cousin's Kaitlyn and Savannah and his cousin Gavin. They all looked so cute dressed up. We had a good time taking Nathan out...he loved to look at everything! Eventually he started to get sleepy and just about fell asleep on Uncle Brandon's shoulders. I laid him in his stroller and he laid there content and just watched everything in comfort. He makes the cutest Superman EVER! It was fun to see him out there....he seems so grown up. I just love him! Happy Halloween! (More pics to come)

14 Months...so I'm a little over his year mark

So today I FINALLY got Nathan's pictures done for his 1 year mark! I'm a little over a year...today he is officially 14 months, BUT better late than never. Nathan has been going through a really shy phase. Where he only wants Jon or I or family. Totally unusual for this little social butterfly. So we were worried he'd be afraid of the camera man. He wasn't entirely sure of him, but didn't do too bad. Normally he's full of big open mouth smiles, but he was a little more tame this time. Still these pictures just show me my little guy's sweet side. He's so precious....the camera man kept calling him the sweetest most precious baby. And he couldn't have hit the nail on the head any more perfect than that! :) It has been an incredible year with this little guy! We are so lucky and grateful for the joy he brings to our family! Fun times at the Park!

We have had THEE most beautiful weather here this October (its always my fave month for that reason) so we are taking advantage of it and getting Nathan to the park as much as we can. Here are a few fun pictures from the weekend. Nathan LOVES running around on the grass. He thinks its about the coolest thing. Not a bad way to burn off some energy either. After park time, he took a 3 hour nap!

Moments before he broke them. HAHAHAHA! It always brings us so much joy to see this little guy have fun and learn and explore. He's growing up so fast and right before our eyes. He's also gotten his 1 year molars and both of his baby bottom eye teeth are coming in. I can't believe what a big boy he's becoming. So happy and sweet all the time. He's a pro at giving kisses (watch out ladies) waving, clapping and we even got him to "meow" like a cat the other night. He's such a blast! We sure love him!
